Meet the Team

Tricia Ang

Solutions Architect

As a Chief Project Matchmaker at AZENCE, Tricia guides clients in applying Pareto’s 80-20 Efficiency Principles to simplify business goals and optimize workflow towards financial success. Being in the digital marketing industry for 18 years makes it easy for her to help clients evolve their business life cycle and help clients focus on achieving measurable results.

Before officially launching AZENCE in 2013, Tricia served as Marketing Director of DirectNET, managing a Professional Services Team of Data Center Engineers and its subsidiary e-commerce properties for more than 10 years. She has managed successful CRM (customer relationship management) & CMS (content management system) integrations during her tenure and was responsible for several online brands, one of which generated more than $2M in sales upon her exit. Prior to that, Tricia started her own dot com in early 2000 and developed state-of-the-art SEO techniques that propelled her career into digital marketing. She earned her undergraduate degree of BSc. In Psychology from the University of Colorado, Boulder and University of Wollongong, Australia.

In addition, she has obtained her Web Development certificate, trained in html5, css, ektron CMS400.net and Hootsuite (Social Media) certified. She loves spending time with her family and travels back and forth between her family in America and Singapore where she was originally from. In her spare time, she is an avid traveler, plays tennis and hosts game nights with friends. Tricia is a self-proclaimed tree hugger and closet self-improvement geek.

Piyoosh R.

Chief Tech Officer

Piyoosh’s biggest asset is his ability to solve complex problems by active listening and crafting unique solutions based on applying cutting edge techniques to most business issues.

As a graduate Masters of Computer Science from University of Denver, Piyoosh has more than 15 years of experience solving small to enterprise problems by integrating 3 Pillars of Business: People, Process, and Program with an Agile development life cycle to bring about innovative solutions.

With a savvy business acumen that is hard to miss, Piyoosh ascended the ranks quickly during his 10 year tenure at 3t, Systems Inc. where he was promoted from Senior Consultant to Director of Software Engineering and finally to Chief Product Officer. As the software lead, certified in Agile Scrum methodologies, Piyoosh has demonstrated the ability to manage successful in-house as well as off-shore engineering teams.

With more than 20 years of experience in SaaS, Healthcare, Finance, and Data Analytics; Piyoosh now manages The Algorithm as founder, and continues to build custom and mobile applications for enterprise-level companies as well as startups. He also serves as Chief Software Architect of VMA (Virtual Medical Assistant) Software, a flagship product developed for the healthcare industry.

Piyoosh is an avid athlete who’s been known to partake in races such as the Tough Mudder. In his downtime, he gardens and is a proud husband and father.

Zvi E.

Performance Specialist

Zvi is a Php performance nut and knows the WordPress core intimately. He's a big data expert and can usually be found detangling complex logic. He loves working with teams and solving client challenges.

Ian G.

IT Manager

As a former instructor of a College for Information Technology, Ian is highly specialized in design & UX. He is our in-house WordPress Project Lead. He oversees our WordPress team as well as PHP projects; manages design & UX. He's definitely the CSS master of the group! He loves to go on adventures - scaling mountains, discovering uncharted places, and learning exotic culture.

Abigail L.

Project Manager

Abbie's extensive background in HR and Management made her progression to Project Management seamless. She's also our client concierge and will take care of all arrangements should things go sour! We need someone to take care of operations of projects and she's great at keeping projects on track! She has over 15 years of experience in the Customer Service Industry having worked in the BPO industry as an Operations Manager for 8 years prior to joining AZENCE. She loves to write, read, travel, meet new people, learn new things and make a positive impact on people’s lives.

Gracielle M.

Creative Manager

Having cut her teeth in blogging more than 10 years ago, her first foray in the professional online world was when one of her readers asked her to write for her business. Since then, Gracielle has progressed her copywriting skills into virtual assistance, content writing, social media marketing, project management and analytics. While she loves going to the beach, doing community and charity work, binge reading and hanging out with friends over good food and whisky; she still finds time to learn and is constantly looking for ways to engage her audience.

Bill M.

Videographer

With 25 years of experience in television news, Bill has enjoyed sharing an endless variety of stories through words, pictures and sound. A career photojournalist, Bill has spent more than 20 years at CBS-owned KCNC-TV in Denver, where his photography for documentaries and special projects has earned regional and national recognition, including two Edward R. Murrow awards and 19 regional EMMY® awards. Bill's work has also appeared on CBS’s 48 Hours program and the CBS Sunday Morning show.

When not shooting for CBS, Bill enjoys freelancing for organizations around the world and devoting time to nature photography. He also serves on the board of directors for Lalmba, a Colorado-based humanitarian organization that helps refugees and orphans in East Africa. Bill is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism.

Troy L.

Web Designer

Troy may be fairly new to the freelancing business but his contribution to Azence is already substantial in his one year tenure with the team. His line of expertise include html, css, php, and javascript. When not geeking out over techie stuff, he goes deep diving to visit his scaly friends or traveling abroad with his wife.

Don L.

Video Manager

Don, as the newest member of the team, is Azence’s Video Creator and Editor. He has a deep passion for digital media and creative content with 3 years of experience in the industry. He loves taking photographs and portraits of people. He is great at doing video and photo editing, hobbies he has cultivated since high school. He loves traveling the beautiful places in the Philippines with his family.
